About LOTR and its director
All good plans come from God, and Light On The Road is no different.
Director Roselinda (Rosa) Camacho is no stranger to serving others locally or on the mission field. She worked for years with The Mustard Seed and went on many mission trips with Operation Provision International as their interpreter and fellow minister.
It was on those trips that she developed a love for people who were living without hope and without the basic necessities of life. The Lord put the country of Honduras on her heart, and since 2015 she has traveled there many times, taking aid of all types.
The call to begin
“You are not through yet.”
In 2020, Rosa fell victim to the COVID virus and lay in a local hospital near death. However, God had other plans. Through prayer, she was restored to health and received a mandate from the Lord:
“There is more work I want you to do. I need you to step out and start your own ministry.”
He told her to call it Light On The Road.
Since then, Rosa has taken up the mandate she received from the Lord, and Honduras has been the focus of her ministry. She has made numerous trips there doing humanitarian deeds, always remembering that the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the real reason she is there.
Rosa works with families in need locally as well, often with seniors and families facing the death of a loved one. She graduated from the Ambassadors School of Ministry at Word of Life Church in Apopka, Florida, in 2022.
